Inversion of Mechanism:
The method of obtaining different mechanisms by fixing different links in a kinematic chain, is known as inversion of the mechanism.
By fixing the one link of kinematic chain at one time, mechanism is formed.
Example: A kinematic chain having four links makes four different mechanisms by fixing its different link one at time.
